HL7 Interfaces
Vermont Oxford / eNICQ
Both NeoData and the NICU Nursing Module can write Vermont Oxford extract information directly into the eNICQ database, saving both research and data entry time. We work with VON each year to implement required updates to ensure the extract is always accurate and as up-to-date as possible.
NeoData
NeoData supports the following HL7 interfaces for sending and receiving data from hospital systems:
- Admissions (ADT): Receive Admissions
- Labs (ORU): Receive Chemistry Labs
- Birth/Maternal Data: Receive OBx and birth information
- Daily Data: Receive daily weights, fluid summaries, and other regular information from the NICU Nursing Module or another flowsheet system
- Documents: Send all documentation back to the central hospital system

Nursing Module
The NICU Nursing Module supports several HL7 interfaces for receiving data from hospital systems:
- Admissions (ADT): Receive Admissions
- Labs (ORU): Receive Chemistry Labs
- Monitors: Receive information directly from the bedside monitors into the nursing flowsheet
- Nursing Documentation: Send all flowsheets, care plans, progress notes, and other daily documentation to the central hospital system
